저는 최대 해상도가 1600x900인 Dell e6530 노트북에서 Linux Mint 19.1을 실행하고 있습니다. 1920x1080 해상도를 지원하는 외부 모니터를 HDMI를 통해 연결하고 해당 모니터를 1920x1080 해상도의 기본 모니터로 설정했습니다.
그런데 화면을 복제(확장 아님)하고 싶어서 노트북 화면의 해상도는 1600x900, 외부 화면의 해상도는 1920x1080인데, 디스플레이 설정을 통해 복제하도록 설정하면 외부 모니터가 노트북의 낮은 해상도인 1600x900을 상속받습니다.
