마더보드 제조업체대개(*) PCI-e 슬롯이 연속적인 논리적 장치 순서가 되도록 물리적으로 배치합니다. 순서는대개CPU에 가장 가까운 것부터 CPU에서 가장 먼 것까지.

첫 번째 것은 아마도 CPU에 내장된 GPU일 것이므로 무시할 수 있습니다. 나머지는 소켓에 물리적으로 설치된 순서대로 나열됩니다. 예를 들어 00:05:00.0은 첫 번째 소켓의 GPU이고 00:06:00.0은 두 번째 소켓의 CPU입니다.
(*) "항상"이라고 말하기는 어렵지만 레이아웃이 다른 마더보드를 본 적이 없습니다. 더 많은 작업이 필요하기 때문에 거의 확실합니다(따라서 비용도 더 많이 듭니다). 제조업체가 다른 방식으로 마더보드당 몇 나노센트를 절약할 수 있는 방법을 찾으면 그렇게 할 것입니다.
PCI 라이저 카드와 추가 PCI 브리지 등이 있는 마더보드는 이를 변경하지만 일반적으로 1 또는 2RU 랙 마운트 케이스의 서버 마더보드 외부에서는 이러한 마더보드를 볼 수 없으며, 그럼에도 불구하고 주문은 여전히 가장 가까운 곳에서 이루어집니다(보통). 가장 멀리까지.
