패닉이 발생하면 프로그램은 catPID 735로 실행 중입니다. 즉, PID 735를 사용하는 프로세스의 컨텍스트에서 오류가 발생합니다. 이것은 cat 프로그램이 잘못된 일을 한다는 것을 의미하지 않습니다. 결함은 커널에 있으며 어떤 상황에서도 패닉이 발생해서는 안 됩니다(실제로 루트 권한을 사용하려고 시도하지 않는 한). cat 프로그램이 특정 장치를 읽거나 쓸 때 호출되는 장치 드라이버에 패닉을 일으키는 버그가 존재할 수 있습니다. 또는 완전히 관련되지 않은 인터럽트로 인해 발생할 수 있습니다. 모든 인터럽트 핸들러는 어떤 방식으로든 해당 프로세스를 서비스하지 않더라도 현재 실행 중인 프로세스의 컨텍스트에서 실행됩니다.
